We did the coolest thing! Five of your favorite Shepherd Security cover models met me for a video shoot. I hired a videographer and a tactical expert, wrote a script, and I directed the video. The link to the completed video will be available soon - I will share it when it is done and posted on YouTube. Below is a slideshow of 13 of the pictures from the shoot and a short behind the scenes video posted on YouTube. Even though it was 95 degrees where we shot the video, we had so much fun! As I wrote the conclusion of Operation: Unknown Angel, the final resolution switched from Mother & Annaka's perspective to Lambchop's in my head. I thought I had concluded that story well enough with the arrest that was made in the last chapter, but from some of the reviews and emails I've received, it seems many of you do not think it did. Have no fear, a full resolution comes as part of Operation: Beach Angel.
Beach Angel has been a bit of a challenge to write, as much of Landon 'Lambchop' Johnson's story is influenced by specific events from his senior year of high school, and his time as a SEAL. I’ve incorporated those events into the story, which has caused shifting timelines in the story, something no other book in the series has. I will be anxious to hear your feedback on it and on how well I’ve pulled it off! I anticipate releasing Operation: Beach Angel is September. And then Shepherd’s story is next in Operation: Healing Angel – which I am planning a December release (just in time for Christmas!) If you haven’t gone to my page on this website and looked at the next few book covers, take a look now! After Shepherd’s story, I am planning, Michaela’s, BT’s, Michael’s, Yvette’s, and Mike ‘Powder’ Rogers’ stories. Thank you for reading my books! Your support is amazing. All my best, Margaret Thank you for taking a minute to drop by! I love to write the Shepherd Security Series! The characters are all like family to me now. I have many more books planned in the series. I’m writing Mother’s story now. The next will be Lambchop’s to complete Delta Team, and then Shepherd gets his own story! My last survey asked you which couple was your favorite. I had so much fun seeing the votes come in! I was surprised that Angel & Jackson won by a landslide! This time, I have 3 questions for you, and as a thank you for taking the time to answer, I will do a raffle and use a name you provide me as character names in my future books. I will draw at least 6 names right away and post the results here on this blog page on May 10th!! I’m always looking for names for my characters, so even if yours is not drawn right away, you may see it in a later book. Book #6 Operation Bayou Angel is coming along nicely. I am very pleased with the story and who my main characters, Brielle Jarboe and Brian Sherman are and how their story is developing. I get a lot of emails from readers who tell me how they like or dislike certain characters. It seems most people have a favorite couple. I thought it would be fun to ask you, the reader, who your favorite is. Please pick 1 below! If you want to tell me why, please add a comment to the post. I will share with you how our couples fared in an upcoming Newsletter. If you haven't already signed up for my Newsletter you can, by visiting my page on this website. Freedom is not free, a lot of people sacrificed for the freedoms we enjoy. Don’t ever forget! Margaret We are back from a very fun vacation! We sailed on the Carnival Sunshine from January 4-12, 2019. There were 8 of us in our group. Here are some pics. 1st row: RK sported this bangle bracelet every night, not confirming if it was a 3 shot flask filled with rum or Jack! Margaret stayed true to her wine in the evenings, but during the day enjoyed many of these mango-rum frozen concoctions called "Kiss on the Lips" and oh so fun to order! 2nd row: our view from the Serenity Deck (read as child-free) during the 4 sea days. The Sisters, Charlie, Margaret & RK viewing some of the art on the ship. The ship all lit up at night in Aruba! 3rd row: The sister's painted toes sunning during a sea day. Margaret on the beach near the boat in Grand Turk as a 20 minute downpour rolled in. Nothing like 2 Carnival ships beside each other! 4th row above: RK & Margaret on the deck in the evening with all the beautiful lights, RK & Margaret and their husbands ate dinner at the Barefoot Restaurant in Aruba at sunset - the view from our table! Rows 5 & 6 below: From left to right - RK, Margaret, our mom, Charlie & our aunt. In Curacao we went to the beach and snorkeled. The morning we arrived in Grand Turk the towel animal invasion on the LIdo deck greeted us - so cool! Row 7 below: Margaret on the balcony - that is the Carnival Breeze beside our ship. Another shot of all the towel animals, the sunrise from our balcony. It was a wonderful trip! Now it's back to working on book 3 in the Shepherd's Security series for me. I"m curious if anyone was on our cruise? Drop a comment if you were! Or just to say hi.
Again, thank you for reading our books. We are humbled and amazed by the success we've had and thank you! Our military members are special! I honor all past, present, and future members of our military with my stories. Salute the flag, stand for our national anthem, and thank a Vet for their service.
